A native of Miami, Johnson starred at the University of Miami where he led the Hurricanes to the 2002 National Championship.  He finished his three-year career at The U ranking as one of the all-time leaders in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.

Since being drafted third overall in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans, Johnson as emerged as the premier wide receiver in the NFL.  The Texans star is a five-time Pro Bowl selection, four-time All-Pro, four-time Houston Texans MVP and was one of only two players to ever lead the NFL in receiving years in two consecutive seasons (2008, 2009.)
